Every Saturday they come. Who are they? They are the food trucks.
From one Saturday to the next you never know who will be there. Some afternoons a band sets up and there's music to go along with the eats.
At our first Off the Grid at McCoppin, we ordered from two of the trucks: Curbside and Curry Up Now.

Egg Sandwich from curbside |
If you're in the mood for breakfast, curbside's Egg Sandwich will hit the spot. Grab a bunch of napkins though or eat with a knife and fork - it's a little messy, but oh so worth it. NOTE: curbside may be located at in the Chevron parking lot at 17th and Market now; that's where we've seen it the past few Saturdays.

Deconstructed Samosa from Curry Up Now |
One thing you might not know about me is that I love Indian food - good Indian food. (The secret to good Indian food is the freshness of the spices.) When I saw a Deconstructed Samosa offered I had to try it. I got the chicken deconstructed Samosa and was underwhelmed. The flavor was good, but felt more Mediterranean than Indian. The corners of dough seemed like an afterthought, tossed in because with samosas the contents are usually tucked inside puffed, fried dough.
Would you eat from a food truck? Which ones have you tried?
