Font Friday: Something Tropical or "Pirate-y"

We're back from our honeymoon! Now it's time to edit and organize our 300 or so photos into an album. Before our trip I had two fonts in mind: Tenshu and Houndscat PB. Some additional fonts I've looked at for the cover, headings, and/or text.

• Utility, designed by Patrick Broderick of RotoDesign Fonts; available for free from Font Squirrel
• Bausto, designed by Paul Hickson for Red Rooster Collection; available for $45 from MyFonts.com.
• Or something more "pirate-y" like Black Beard, designed by Ethan Paul Dunham of FontHead Design; available for $19 from MyFonts.com.

Of the two original fonts, Houndscat PB is still in the running, but Tenshu has been replaced with Bausto for the album's title.

Font Friday: Airstream

My inaugural pick for Font Friday is Airstream by Nick's Fonts. 

Why? I'm craving an Egg Sandwich (photo on Flickr) from EAT curbside this morning. 

Notice their logo; looks a lot like Airstream, doesn't it?

I realize I'm a little late to the Font Friday party. One of the blogs I follow PoppyTalk participates sporadically, but I didn't realize it was a meme. My love of fonts, however, has been well established and documented. Remember the recipe test pages I subjected you to? The Alphabet Soup roundup? The labeled canisters that inspired the Blanchisserie Americain logo? Or my first weekly wrap featuring type in the kitchen? So please don't hold my absence against me, I've been on this bandwagon for awhile.
